Classroom Work – all they need is a shovel and a broom to do the job! At the end of the school day, students take turns sweeping the floor in the classroom to prepare it for the next morning. Classroom work helps all students feel part of the team. Special Education Classroom Work – Female Students This practical work helps keep tables clean and gives students a practical life experience. If your students are responsible enough to use the shredder, have them shred paper for recycling or craft projects all year round. Ask students to sort the paper by name, color, or number. The more they volunteer, the more likely it is that they will work together to create a clean, orderly, and positive classroom. Assign students the task of checking the inventory of course materials. Using a manual exercise, ask students to drill laptops for future homework cards. A student assistant can access envelopes that are used to send messages or special letters to parents throughout the year.
