If you plan to take classes you should know a few things

If you plan to take classes, you should know a few things about the realities of off-campus student life. A great way to find like-minded friends is to join a student club! Clubs and committees can help you fill the time between classes when you can’t go home. Finally, it’s important to be thankful that you came to school instead of studying on campus. There is nothing worse than getting hungry between classes and buying an overpriced, unsappetizing pizza. You have your own network of OC friends, and you can help each other discover new surroundings and get oriented. Other students who don’t live on campus can immediately understand you-they are in the same situation as you! Friends on campus will also be helpful to you because they have their own network of friends they can introduce you to. Make sure you have convenient parking so you can get to class on time. It’s a good idea to make friends with people who live both on and off campus. If you live outside of the city where you study, there are many factors to consider when it comes to commuting. If studying in the car is not your thing, use the breaks between classes and extracurricular activities to have time to do homework and read. Remember that every city is different, so take time to familiarize yourself with the laws and environment. If you are lucky enough to have an off-campus group at your institution, feel free to join.
