Microsoft Teams – We can make the most of new technologies:

We can make the most of new technologies: our employees are fully committed to a training program with schools across the country, which typically requires travel and time beyond the school’s obligation. Our students spend as much time in “core” classrooms as possible during the school day, so we have identified classrooms in each part of the school where staff can work, as they no longer have their own “dedicated” classrooms. Our employees are excited about the new educational challenges, and we share our ideas for “new regular classes” as part of our weekly training program – only now employees share their ideas with Microsoft teams, not during face-to-face training. We have set aside time for staff during the training day to fill these spaces with educational materials that will be held in this space. The good and organized management of our school helped to support our young people at a time when some of them were afraid to return to a safe and effective learning process. He explains how employees found new ways to work and interact to ensure everyone’s safety and minimize risk. Throughout the summer, we planned that all of our employees would have enough space to work safely when they were not working with students. Our regular meetings are now online, and all our employees effectively use Microsoft equipment to share ideas and resources. This has saved time throughout the school year and has ensured that teachers do not have to carry equipment near the school when attending different classes. The existing restrictions were not considered oppressive and in many ways helped the students to move on to education after such a long absence from the school. At Valley Leadership Academy, our priority is to keep our school community safe so that quality learning remains possible. This means rethinking the little things we usually do out of habit, including how we consume these essential soft drinks! The staff was excited that they gathered after a long break. When the staff moved from one class to another, they wore a mask as an extra safety measure. Educating staff at the beginning of their term is crucial. It took a lot of effort to teach us new habits to keep the distance between us, but we know that this is necessary if we want to limit the transmission of VIDOC-19. In classrooms we made the distance visible by recording the floor to maintain a distance of 2 meters between teachers and students.
