Mount St Joseph – When WDN started a new career during the

When WDN started a new career during the global pandemic, it could have been very difficult, but under the great leadership of its leaders, it was brilliant to see the results of happy, smiling children returning through the doors of their schools, ready for an exciting year. Again, this time of year. Teachers from all over England are beginning to greet their students at the beginning of the new school year. We had a very successful but different start to the school year here on Mount St. Joseph – a lot of hand washing and sanitation, chess start and finish time and group rooms all year round, all at the same time with a lot of learning. We had a great first day with our pupils in grades 7 and 11 and we are safe at school again. To avoid mixing bubbles, we created bubble zones around the building for each age group, with separate entrances, stairs and classrooms. We hope that children will have a wonderful learning experience throughout the year. Here at Shafton Outwood Academy in Barnsley this week, we have taken care of the health and safety of all students and staff at the Academy during the past three months. How wonderful it is that the school is full of happy, smiling children. Such a warm welcome from the whole school community – staff, children, and parents. It was great to see all these beautiful smiling faces at school. I am glad to see that 442 very happy and smiling children are back at school today. The children were fantastic and adopted the new routine of “duck in the water”. It was a great day to welcome the new 7th and 11th graders back to the academy. But with so many new security measures, this year is a bit different. It includes everything from workload reduction to school management, student bonuses and student welfare. My first week at Gooseacre Elementary was great.
