Novel Online – Use the virtual meeting tool and its

Use the virtual meeting tool and its functions, such as conversations, discussion groups, notes, and voices, to discuss with virtually the entire class and engage all students. This is what all English teachers dream about: students with copies of a novel in their hands, covered with pages of dog ears and sticky notes. First, students read or listen to a series of theses on the themes of the novel. One of the benefits of teaching the novel online throughout the classroom is that the tools we use allow us to record our classes and our students’ learning process. Finally, students engage in discussion, provide constructive feedback, and develop their ideas about each other. How can you teach an entire class with an online novel? Join our WeAreTeachers help group on Facebook. Students can “push” each other to participate and create surveys to increase engagement. Students complete the online discussion and have live round tables. Finally, ask students to indicate under each statement whether or not they agree and why. Based on our worksheet, students have chosen two of their responses to share with their peers. They then invite students to participate in a virtual classroom. Here you can organize videos, articles, photos, and communication tools that your students can study asynchronously. Celebrate the completion of your novel in class with Socrates’ online seminar.
